MIN MAX Planning Setup and Process flow
Min Max planning to maintain the inventory
level for all items or selected items
1. Minimum, Maximum quantity to be specified in Item master,
2. When the inventory level drops below the minimum quantity system
suggest the New PR
3. Min max planning works in inventory organization level and sub
inventory level.
4. Organization level min max planning consider the inventory balances,
purchase requisitions, Internal requisitions , Internal orders, WIP jobs as
supply
Total available quantity
Total Available Quantity = Net on hand + On order
Net on hand is stock in the
particular inventory organization
On order is Open PO, PR, IR,
Internal orders, WIP Job schedule for receipt
Suggestion for Reorder
Total available < Minimum Quantity
Order Quantity
Order quantity = Maximum Quantity – Total available quantity.
Submit
the “Min-max planning report HTML” concurrent from Inventory super user
responsibility
